We're not a random list of companies. Home Services Scout is built to help you describe your project clearly, match with the right type of pro, and feel confident before you say yes to any quote.
Choose the service you need, where you live, and what's going on. We'll ask the kinds of questions a good pro would ask on the phone—scope, urgency, budget comfort level—without making you write a novel.
Behind the scenes, we route your project to pros who actually do this kind of work in your area—no national call centers pretending to be local. You'll typically hear from a small handful of companies, not dozens.
Pros will typically call, text, or email to learn a bit more and share pricing. Use our project guides to sanity-check quotes, ask better questions, and avoid surprise add-ons.
For most projects, you can expect to hear from a small group of local companies—usually 2–4, depending on your area and the type of work. If there's not a great match, we'd rather send fewer options than push the wrong fit.
We only ask for the basics a pro truly needs to follow up: your contact info, address or service area, and a short description of the job. We don't sell your data to random lists or send you unrelated marketing.
